Africa Is So Hot Right Now
by Jordan Halland
About the Design:
The inspiration for this shirt was living in San Diego. Every weekend there are charity events and benefit concerts for Africa, or to end slavery, etc. While drawing attention to these issues is needed and valuable it sometimes felt like the charities were an afterthought. Sometimes ridiculous lengths were taken to host amazing events where thousands were spent on a sound system, food, and entertainment to raise a meager amount of money for the charity being honored. It's a tough question though, because without pomp and circumstance most charities would be penniless, yet are people really buying into your initiative or are they merely attending a fancy party?

This shirt makes an amazing statement, both politically and fashion-wise.
